Cub Scout Day Camp

The best that Cub Scouting has to offer, close to home! Cub Scout Day Camp combines the most exciting things about being a Scout with summertime fun. Practice your aim at the Archery or BB Shooting ranges, create a masterpiece in Arts and Crafts, or learn a new knot in Scoutcraft. Build campfires, study local animals or test your skill on the sports field. On Friday, invite the family to join us for our weekly BBQ and closing festivities.

Boy Scout Day Camp

Starting in the summer of 2013 Camp Sayre will open Day Camp for Boy Scouts. This will provide a great opportunity to complete merit badge work for all the outdoor badges. (archery, hiking, all the ecology badges, cooking, pioneering and many more). Additionally Scouts will have an opportunity to swim and work on lifesaving skills. This is a great way to get brush up on your skills before a week long adventure at overnight camp - or finish up a few badges right after camp.

Vacation Camp

During February and April vacations Scouts can attend day camp to participate in unique adventures. Boy Scouts will have the opportunity learn winter camping skills, skiing, mountain biking, rock climbing and STEM related badges. Cubs will participate in similar age appropriate adventures.

Saturday Camp Activities

During the spring of 2013 Camp Sayre will offer select Saturday programs. The scout program is based around the troop and the patrol method, but we know some Scouts just want that extra adventure. This spring Scouts will be able to participate in a one day rock climbing experience, or a one day mountain biking tour through the blue hills. Scouts will be placed in small groups with other Scouts and the instructors will provide the care and safety required for a great one day adventure!
